KPV | Peptide Encyclopedia | Auryx

KPV is a physician-reviewed Auryx Learn encyclopedia entry. A tripeptide (Lys-Pro-Val) derived from the C-terminus of alpha-MSH with potent mucosal anti-inflammatory and wound healing effects. This page is educational. It is not a dosing guide and not a substitute for a licensed clinician.

How it works

KPV inhibits NF-κB signaling and pro-inflammatory cytokines (IL-1β, TNF-α, IL-6) directly in gut epithelial cells. This makes it particularly effective for gut mucosal inflammation. It also promotes keratinocyte migration for wound closure and has anti-microbial properties against pathogens like Candida albicans.

Primarily used for gut health and systemic inflammation reduction. An excellent complementary peptide alongside BPC-157 for GI issues.
